We require a credit card to guarantee your room. Unless otherwise noted due to special events, deposits are not required.
We do not pass credit card fees onto guests, however we do ask that you present a card for payment to help us avoid excessively high fees. If we do not have a card present, we will charge a 1% fee for manually entering your card for payment.
Our cancellation policy is 2 days on prior to arrival unless otherwise noted due to special events. If you need to cancel within the cancellation period, you will be charged a penalty equal to your full reservation. Group reservation policies are per the contract signed at the time of your group event booking.
We have a $45 early departure fee.
Inn on the River has a TABC Liquor License which allows us to sell alcoholic beverages to our guests. Due to this license the TABC does not allow outside liquor, beer or wine to be consumed on property (with the exception of your specific guest room). Please refrain from bringing your own supply of adult beverages to drink in any public area of the property
Check In Time is 2pm, however during your reservation process please tell us your arrival time and we will make every effort to accommodate any early arrivals. Anyone arriving after 11pm is considered a no show unless they notify us of the late arrival. Check Out Time is 11am unless you have made arrangements for a late checkout.
The hotel occupancy tax of 13% (6% state tax and 7% city tax) is not included in quoted rates. Rates are based on single or double occupancy. Additional adults are $20 and children between 4-12 are $10.
We offer a full breakfast served daily. Please tell us about any food restrictions upon check-in so that we can accommodate your dining experience. We also want to remind you that will the breakfast is included, gratuties are not. Please consider your server and take care of them.
Please call us to speak about your pet size and traits and we will work with you to accommodate your fur babies. We do limit it to 1 pet per room and charge a $25 non refundable pet fee. Pets must be on leash or in kennel when on property and you must clean up after your pet. Any pet damage is the responsibility of the pet owner and will be charged to your credit card upon check-out.
Due to the size of some of our rooms, there is not an ability to add rollaways, Please make sure you choose a suite in order to accommodate space for your child. Children under 4 are free of charge. Children over 4 has a $10 extra person charge that is already calculated into your rates, if you include children in your reservation.
We offer high-speed WiFi access in all guest rooms and the lobby/dining room. Our WiFi Password is iotr2016
We want your rooms to be a sanctuary of peace and relaxation, so TV’s are not available in our guest rooms.
Our property is non-smoking. Anyone smoking inside any of the buildings will be charged a $250 cleaning fee. There is a small smoking area on the lawn area if you require one.
The main building offers an accessible ramp to the 1st floor which includes the lobby, dining room and some sleeping rooms. One guest room has some features (i.e. grab bars) that can help assist with a mobility limited individual, but it is not offer fully accessible room.
Due to COVID, we are not automatically refreshing each room during your stay. If you need housekeeping services during your stay, we are happy to provide them. Please make sure we know you would like a tidy-up and then don't forget to consider leaving a gratuity for your housekeeper.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
