Not only did I have the pleasure of eating the best salad and cacio e pepe today, I was the recipient of a random act of true kindness. My husband is in the hospital at Glen Rose medical center for a week, and I wanted a fresh, homemade meal today. I called and ordered based on the recommendations of the kind voice on the other end of the line. When I ventured over to the beautiful Inn on the River, picked up my food and was crossing the front of the building back to my car, a kind woman was leaning out the door on the front porch of the Inn and said "are you Amy?" Turns out it was Chef Pam and she was letting me know if we needed a meal or snack, to just call anytime and they'd deliver to us at the hospital. Pam you made my day, not only by your incredible food, but by your incredible kindness! I can't wait to bring my husband in when he recovers. Everyone do yourself a favor and visit Snyder's tavern!
